Week 1 – Greetings, Food,?and Culture

• Pronunciation, greetings, introducing yourself
• Introduction to culture, history, seasons, symbols, and famous Japanese foods (yay!!!)

• How to make a reservation?and order food
• Talk about your impressions and tastes??

• Asking about items and their costs??
• Japanese convenience stores (and their range of take-out foods)??

Week 4 – Staying in Hotels?

• Introduction to Hot Springs &?Ryokan,?Kaiseki?Ryoori??
• Confirming reservations, checking in, and asking for recommendations

Week 5 – Getting Around?

• Ask for directions to specific places (e.g. the train station) and learn how to travel by bus, train, and taxi, and how to navigate the airport
• Learn about conversations for talking with locals at tourist spots
